Dr. Walther J. FuchsResearcher Research InterestsMy research focuses on the interaction of science, art and society. Specifically, I am interested in the role and impact of media (papers, photos, 3d models etc.) in socio-historical networks with regard to the production process of scientific innovation or in formation of political opinions. Special attention is paid to the relationships between the iconography of media in the sciences and in the arts. Current work focuses on the innovation of three-dimensional anatomical models in the beginning of the 18th century. Other projects are in preparation:
