Postdoctoral researcher, Anthropological Institute, University of Zurich
I am interested in studying biological complex systems; What are the properties of biological complex systems? what are the different processes affectingthis complexity?
Currently, at Christoph Zollikofer’s group and as a postdoctoral researcher, I am using complex agent-based models of human dispersal from Africa to better understand factors that helped humans spread across all continents.
During my PhD, at Andreas Wagner’s group, I worked with fitness landscapes inspired by thermodynamics of RNA folding, as well as empirical fitness landscapes of transcription factor binding sites, to understand the effect of population size on the rate of adaptation.
