I am fascinated by species’ responses to variable environments by means of evolution, phenotypic plasticity, and life-history characteristics.
In previous projects I used quantitative genetic modeling and individual-based simulations to study local adaptation, evolution during range dynamics, and species’ responses to short- and long-term environmental changes. With Christoph Zollikofer I started computational work on phenotypic and genetic patterns in humans.
